Careers in Construction (CIC)

Careers in Construction (CIC) committee is a committee of the Associated Builders and Contractors. Its mission is to help bring new professionals and craftsmen into construction to develop a strong workforce base for the industry. It accomplishes its mission through two subcommittees: Schools to Careers subcommittee and the ABC Students Chapters and Competition subcommittee. The CIC Committee has three major objectives:

• Promote Recruiting Students for Successful Careers in the Construction Industry
• Assist Local Chapters in Attracting Talented Men and Women into Various Crafts of the Construction Industry
  
• Develop Understanding of the Merit Shop and Free Enterprise Philosophies in Higher Education through Student Chapters
